10 Years of BMDA Activities
Seems that it was yesterday... But the calendar shows that already 10 years passed since that remarkable fall of 2002, when small, but active group of management educators and managers from Baltic region gathered together on November 30th to make a birth for Baltic management Development Association – BMDA!
Before that, a couple of years of discussions that Baltic’s sea region due to its particularity needs to have its own management development association took place. And those discussions leaded to the decision to build together the network, being able to take care of the particular issues of management and management development in the region.
We always invited for integration, multi-disciplinary and multicultural approach in management education. We always argued for socially responsible and sustainable approach and tried to integrate corporate world, management educators and professional consultants. We always promoted critical thinking, innovations and creativity.
During those years BMDA put itself into the map of World management development and today jointly together with various networks and associations continues to contribute to the development of more responsible and professional management.
I want to thank everybody who dreamed together, acted together and spent their time implementing joint ideas and hopes for better and more professional management education in the region.
10 years of activities is the important Milestone in the development of any organization. Being proud of what we together achieved so far, I believe that a lot of new and more impressive Milestones are waiting for us in the future!
And I wish all members of BMDA as well as its friends and supporters to continue actively participate in creating better, more holistic and more virtue approach in management for the benefit of the single individual and whole Society!
