Global Leadership Summit returned to Klaipėda
On November 20–21, 2015, LCC International University, along with several partners, hosted the Global Leadership Summit (GLS). Michealsen Center was filled with more than 500 people from a variety of sectors – church, business, NGOs, and academia who spent two days with the most inspiring speakers.
It was a truly motivating event with such speakers as Brene Brown, Horst Schulze, Ed Catmull, Sheila Heen, Liz Wiseman, Jim Collins, Brian Houston, Craig Groeschel and Bill Hybels.
For the first time, GLS was proud to include a Lithuanian speaker, Aurelijus Veryga, who holds a doctorate in biomedical science. Dr. Veryga is a lecturer at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, a practicing psychiatrist, president of the National Tobacco and Alcohol Control Coalition of Baltic Nations, and a board member of the Nordic Alcohol and Drug Policy Network (NORDAN). He presented his ideas about fighting the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol on the human body.
GLS is a world-class experience broadcast in HD from Willow Creek campus near Chicago to over 375 premier host sites in North America and later around the world. During the two days of the conference, participants have a chance to view eight video recordings and interviews about leadership, high quality services, creativity, constructive feedback, wisdom, and the ability to get back on their feet after failure.
The GLS is broadcast to more than 120 countries around the world.
