He noted: “Modern business requires employees with a drastically different mindset. They are to become the real masters of their workspace, generating new ideas and offering innovative solutions. To make it possible, executives must acquire the skills of the effective management based on the delegation of authority”.

GSCM Alumni, who arrived to Tashkent to represent their alma mater, also took an active part in the Forum. “Termoros” CEO Ashot Danielyan, financial manager of the “Russian Railroads” Sima Khachatryan, and “Magistau Media” CEO Aisulu Dutbaeva shared their experience in implementation of the techniques mastered at GSCM and the career achievements that followed.

GSCM Dean Sergey Kalendzhyan and Associate Dean Olga Gumilevskaya held a workshop “Using the European management principles to transform business practices in Uzbek companies”, aiming at introducing the Delegation of Authority method.

GSCM professor and certified consultant Svetlana Sterkhova taught a master class “How to boost sales during the pandemic and crisis”, explaining the use of a flexible approach to management in order to maximize the profit.

“I hope that our partnership with the Banking and Finance Academy will help to promote the progressive business education and encourage its launch in Uzbekistan. The Republic is changing, and these current changes seem a great step forward, according to Russian expert community and academic circles. We are counting on this partnership to be a major success”, – concluded Sergey Kalendzhyan in his interview to the Uzbekistan-24 TV channel.
