Hayek Lifetime Achievement Award 2021 to UDG Rector!
We proudly present the laureate of this year's Hayek Lifetime Achievement Award: Prof. dr Veselin Vukotic, UDG Rector.
Professor Vukotic is founder and Rector of the University of Donja Gorica and was the central force during transition from a planned economy to a free market economy in his homecountry. Moreover, he set new standards for economics and economic education in general, not only in the Balkan region.
The award were presented during the 10th International Conference Austrian Economics in the 21st Century, coorganised by the Argentinian Think Tank Fundacion International Bases, the Austrian Economics Center and the Hayek Institute. The Conference were held on November 4th and 5th, 2021 at the Austrian Central Bank in Vienna.
