Intercontinental Hotel hosted the Award ceremony where the International Academy of Business, a member of EUROBAK, received an Honorary diploma for its vigorous activity in the sphere of corporate social responsibility. IAB was nominated for “Improvement of teaching environment for children and students” having implemented a socially responsible project “Support of village schools by higher education institutions”. The project was initiated in 2009 and ever since IAB invites 15 teachers from rural areas to come to Almaty for advanced training during spring and autumn breaks.

Such ceremony was held for the first time this year; however the organizers are planning to hold it annually. The main purpose of this project initiated by EUROBAK Board of Directors is to recognize socially minded companies among Association members.
