Prof. Vesna Bengin held a lecture at the UDG Entrepreneurial Nest!
On March 28th, 2023, the guest of the Entrepreneurial Nest was Mrs. Vesna Bengin, a distinguished scientist and co-founder of BioSens, a research and development institute for biosystem information technologies.
During her presentation, Mrs. Bengin presented the concept and idea of BioSens, research projects that are of a multidisciplinary nature together with the application of communication technologies primarily in agriculture.
Workshop participants had the opportunity to hear experiences related to applying for EU and international funds, as well as experiences in organizing multi- and trans-disciplinary research teams and experiences in the development of the European Center of Scientific Excellence. Professor Vesna Bengin is the manager of the ANTARES project, ranked first in the most prestigious call of the European Commission, Horizon 2020 - Teaming, which aims to develop the BioSens Institute into a market-oriented leading European center of excellence.
At the end of the workshop, Ms. Bengin shared her experiences with the attendees, among whom were researchers from UDG who are active in research projects such as the Center of Excellence FoodHub, the National Competence Center in the Field of Supercomputing (NCC Montenegro - EuroCC), UDG researches of the coordinator project MONTEVITIS from the Horizon Europe program as well as many others.
