Rector Peeter Kross visits Boston

A week visiting the leading business schools in the Boston area is always a rich learning experience.   In addition to the official tour of Harvard Business School, MIT and others, Peeter Kross also had a private visit to Bentley University, where he met with professors and the Dean of Business and the McCallum Graduate School, Mike Page.   There is a long history of Estonian links to Bentley, where some 35 Estonian students studied in the 1990s.   Its innovative structure and interdisciplinary subjects are of great interest in today's rather uniform business school world.

Peeter Kross commented that American universities are, naturally, way ahead of schools in Central and Eastern Europe, given that they are older and have better endowments.   He was very interested in some of the innovations which have been introduced by such business schools as Northeastern University.
