BMDA Board Member has been approved as the Rector of BA School of Business and Finance (Latvia)
Līga Peiseniece – the Doctor of Management in Business Administration, Associate Professor has been approved as the Rector of BA School of Business and Finance (Latvia) by the Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia on December 1, 2020. The Constitutional Assembly of BA School of Business and Finance elected Līga Peiseniece as the rector of the BA School of Business and Finance on October 27, 2020. The Constitutional Assembly of BA School of Business and Finance elects the rector for a term not exceeding five years, not more than twice in a row. Līga Peiseniece has been confirmed as rector for the first time.

“My most important directions of work are – to further develop the study offer of BA School of Business and Finance by creating modern interdisciplinary programs including increasement of study value, research capacity, and international recognition and cooperation as a university that promotes change in society. Līga Peiseniece has been working at BA School of Business and Finance since 2005, but since 2011 she has been the Vice-Rector for Studies at this institution.
