Honorary Doctoral Degree for the President of BMDA

For the big input to the development of management education internationally in general and for the input creating and developing first private business university in Lithuania in particular, President of BMDA and Dean of Adizes Graduate School (USA), Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas on June 26, 2015 has been awarded the Honorary Doctoral Degree of ISM University of Management and Economics.

Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas is Founding President of ISM University of Management and Economics (first private HEI in the country) and performed in this position from year of establishment in 1999 till 2008.

This award has been given based on the decision of ISM Senate, consisting of prominent international academic experts of business and management from different countries - Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Spain, Turkey, UK.

During the previous years, the ISM Doctoral Honorary Degree has been given to well-known professors and Gurus of Management Dr. I.Adizes, G. Hofstede, P.Lorange, as well as to the President of Lithuania: H.E. V. Adamkus.

 

Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas is Doctor of Social Sciences (Education), Dean of Adizes Graduate School (USA), Managing Director of Adizes Institute for Lithuania and Certified Adizes Consultant. He is President of Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA), Vice-president of International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies (CEEMAN); Member of Editorial Board of Baltic Journal of Management (UK), Scientific Committee member of Global Ranking & Rating system EDUNIVERSAL (France), Member of the Board of Trustees of Almaty Management University (Kazakhstan). He also serves as the Board member of Lithuanian Free Market Institute, VilNews on-line magazine and number of other institutions.
