In Memoriam Nicola Hijlkema (1944 – 2012)
With deep sadness BMDA Board and Management inform everyone that our dear colleague and friend Nicola Hijlkema passed away on 27th December 2012.
Nicola Hijlkema has been with BMDA since the very first steps of the Association that started in 2002. Her energy and ideas as active BMDA member lead to the invitation to join the Board of Association in 2005. She was one of the most active BMDA Board members – always full of new plans, goals and creative ideas how to make BMDA flourish…
Nicola played an important role in development of management education not only in Central and East Europe, but also worldwide working at various organizations and Business schools in different countries.
We will always remember her as very special person, nice friend and professional colleague, with whom we spent a lot of time discussing development of BMDA, management education in general as well as sharing personal development issues.
Our sincere condolences go out to Nicola’s family and friends.
