SUCCESS OF THE CONFERENCE ‘SOCIAL TECHNOLOGIES: DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE COMPLEX WORLD’
The 3rd Mykolas Romeris University International Conference ‘Social Technologies: Development of Social Technologies in the Complex World’ organized in cooperation with Baltic Management Development Association took part on October 25-26 in Vilnius and was hosted by Faculty of Social Informatics (MRU).
This international conference was focused on conceptual design, methodological foundation and practical implementation of social software for managing sustainable development and long-term effectiveness enhancing social macro- and mega- systems. During the conference the sessions of Application of social technologies to business organization management, Application of social technologies to public management, Legal environment of social technologies, Social process modelling, Applications of social technologies to the processes of teaching and learning session and workshop was presented as well as Modern Information’s systems and separate master and doctoral students sessions.
Social Technologies conference welcomed participants from Croatia, Greece, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden as well as from different Universities of Lithuania. Several sections of the conference were streamed online as well as several participants gave distant presentations.
