Prof. Edita Gimzauskiene has been elected as President of BMDA
During BMDA board meeting, which took place on 2nd of February, the Board Member of BMDA and Dean of School of Economics & Business at Kaunas University of Technology, prof. Edita Gimzauskiene, has been elected as BMDA President. She will step in this position from 3rd of February, 2022. The founding president dr. Virginijus Kundrotas will continue contributing to BMDA in the role of Honorary President.

BMDA Board meeting on Leadership succession took place in Vilnius, Lithuania
The last Board meeting of BMDA in 2021, which took place in Vilnius (Lithuania) made several important decisions on leadership succession of the association.

BMDA president Dr. V. Kundrotas, who is also the member of International Scientific Committee for Eastern Europe, opened the second day of this World Convention. Dr. V. Kundrotas presented the keynote speech on the topic โHow to Implement the Needed Change Together as a Teamโ.
The launch of 19th Annual BMDA Conference
On the 7th of October the 19th Annual BMDA Conference "Is the World really burning out? Mastering new realityโ hasbeen opened with the welcome speeches by the Dean of the conference host institution โ School of Business and Governance at TalTech โ prof. Enn Listra and the president of BMDA โ dr. Virginijus Kundrotas. The 19th Annual BMDA conference was attended by 160 participants from 24 countries (Lithuania, Russia, Estonia, India, USA, France, Poland, Latvia, Ukraine, Georgia, The Netherlands, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Iceland, Portugal, Slovenia, Namibia, Peru, Brazil, Spain, Great Britain, Check republic, China).

BMDA President at the Annual Conference of African Association of Business Schools
These days Association of African Business Schools- AABS is conducting it's Annual Conference on-line. On June 24th the President of Baltic Management Development Association, Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas, spoke during the session "Alliance of management development associations in rising economies" and presented BMDA activities and most recent projects, among which BMDA Annual Conference on October 6-8, 2021 in Tallinn (Estonia) and Leadership seminar in Turkey in October. BMDA is one of the founders of Alliance of management development associations in rising economies, which unites management development associations in America, Africa and Europe.
